Through this affiliation with IDG, the nation’s largest floor covering buying group, we are among a group of showrooms that have become a premier resource for homeowners, interior designers, and architects.
Design for a Difference is the International Design Guild’s first-ever community-driven designer movement. Together with other showrooms, interior designers, and businesses, we make over needed spaces at local charities.
Our latest Design for a Difference endeavor involved redesigning the space occupied by Mountain Valley Developmental Services, a local non-profit that provides services to adults with developmental disabilities. Select Surfaces partnered with P. Furniture and Rocky Mountain Contractors to turn what used to be the old First Bank in Minturn into a beautiful, usable space for their clients. From replacing the flooring and remodeling the entire kitchen to adding new furniture and fresh coats of paint, our team put hours and hours of planning into creating a functional and fun atmosphere for this community to thrive in for years to come!
Through our partnership with Design for a Difference, Select Surfaces redesigned the offices of SOS Outreach, a youth development non-profit that uses outdoor sports to engage underserved students in long-term mentor based relationships.
